– Bringing Smiles to Children without Access to Sport –
About
Sports Mentoring is a one-on-one six-month mentoring program matching university students to elementary school students from DV victim families. During the program each mentor comes to the house of their mentees’ and spend time all the way to venues where they enjoy sports together as a group. Through the program children gain confidence and improve communication skills, and ultimately learn to believe that their mentors or people come across in their lives cheer them up.
