On the World Environmental Day towards Paris 2024, Sport For Smile is pleased to announce the launch of “Listen to the Future” Podcast series to get the voice heard of young climate action leaders who are sports fans.
This Podcast series (Japanese only) is a part of our ”Sport For Smile Planet League” initiative that aims to accelarate climate actioms among Japanese sports, and it will be delivered along with the “Elite Program” which provides specific supports for Japanese first-tier pro clubs who are sustainability top-runners. Each Episode welcomes a young leader to speak about their actions with their background, as well as about stories of their favorite teams and players.
Sport For Smile Planet League Director Mie Kajikawa will be serving as the host, making the most of her experience with IOC-and-UN-branded Sport Positive Summit and as judge panel of BBC Green Sports Awards, as well as of her global network of sport-and-sustainability community.
The guest speaker of the first Episode is Alisa Belitz, a university student driving sustainability in her own university sports, who will be serving as a navigator for the following Episodes.
The qualification for the gurest speaker is the fact that he/she is leading activities to tackle on climate change and that they are sports fans under 30 years old, and all the guest speakers will be publicly recruited, with the first Episode to be delivered this autum via major platforms monthly.
This Podcase series is for all the sports fans and people who want to drive climate actions to save our planet for future generations to do sports, so stay tuned.
